Regular Season Round 30: Tofas - Erdemir 74-69

Rather expected game in Bursa where 12th ranked Erdemir (10-20) was defeated by ninth ranked Tofas (13-17) 74-69. Erdemir was ahead by 2 points at the halftime before a 17-9 third quarter run of Tofas. They dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Erdemir's 28. Croatian power forward Tomislav Ruzic (208-79) notched 18 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and forward Inanc Koc (202-79) supported him with 13 points and 8 rebounds. Even 27 points by American-Lebanese swingman Antwain Barbour (196-82, college: Kentucky, agency: Court Side) did not help to save the game for Erdemir. Guard Altan Erol (194-83) added 9 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Tofas have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain ninth position with 13-17 record. Erdemir lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh place with 20 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
