No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Karsiyaka (21-9) smashed at home 11th ranked Trabzonspor (10-20) 101-81. The game without a history. Karsiyaka led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Trabzonspor's players. Karsiyaka brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Forward Birkan Batuk (197-90) notched 31 points (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and American forward Andre Smith (203-85, college: N.Dakota St.) supported him with 18 points and 6 rebounds.
