The game with biggest result difference took place in Ljubljana. Local Union Olimpija (7-4) outscored 5th ranked Geoplin Slovan (4-7) 70-45. The game without a history. Union Olimpija led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Geoplin Slovan's 22. It was a quality performance for Bosnian-Croatian power forward Damir Markota (210-85) who led the winners and scored 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Union Olimpija's next round opponent will be Zlatorog (#3) in Lasko, which may be the game of the day. Geoplin Slovan will play at home against Elektra in Sostanj and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
