Undefeated leader Krka delivered the twelfth consecutive victory on Saturday night. This time they crushed 6th ranked Polzela (4-8) 95-64 in Novo Mesto. The game without a history. Krka led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Krka outrebounded Polzela 39-26 including 26 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a quality performance of Bosnian guard Goran Ikonic (196-80) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and power forward Smiljan Pavic (210-80) who added 13 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Krka's coach Aleksandar Dzikic felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was Croatian center Denis Vrsaljko (212-82) with 17 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and Serbian guard Igor Mijajlovic (193-84, agency: BeoExcell) scored 12 points and 6 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Krka (12-0) have an impressive 12-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with a perfect record of 12 victories in a row. Polzela lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with eight games lost. Krka will meet Maribor Messer (#8) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Polzela will play against the league's second-placed Union Olimpija in Ljubljana and hope to secure a win.
