Second Stage Round 14: Zlatorog - Helios 72-76

An interesting game for Helios (10-4) which played road game in Lasko against 4th ranked Zlatorog (8-6). Third ranked Helios managed to get a 4-point victory 76-72. Zlatorog was ahead by 9 points after three quarters before a 25-12 charge of Helios, which allowed them to win the game. They also forced 19 Zlatorog turnovers. Zlatorog was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. American swingman Benjamin Raymond (198-87, college: Xavier, agency: Impact Basketball) had a double-double by scoring 31 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Grega Mali (197-84) chipped in 11 points during the contest. Serbian forward Vladimir Panic (194-82, agency: 011 Sports) responded with 20 points and center Alen Omic (213-92) scored 8 points and 11 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Helios have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Union Olimpija. Zlatorog at the other side keeps the fourth position with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
