The game was mostly controlled by CSKA Moscow. Krasnie Krilya managed to win fourth quarter 23-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. CSKA Moscow dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Krasnie Krilya's 36. They outrebounded Krasnie Krilya 33-16 including 23 on the defensive glass. CSKA Moscow looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Krasnie Krilya's players. Worth to mention a quality performance of the former international swingman Viktor Khryapa (204-82) who helped to win the game recording 8 points, 14 rebounds and 7 assists. Naturalized Kyrgyzstani guard Denis Polokhin (195-90) helped adding 14 points and 7 assists. The best for the losing side was American swingman Gerald Green (202-86, college: High School, agency: Lanshire Group) with 17 points and American-Bosnian guard Ernest Bremer (195-80, college: St.Bonaventure, agency: Higher Vision Sports) scored 14 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
