Regular Season Round 20: Dynamo - Dnipro-DVUFK 79-88

The most important game in the last round took place in Kyiv between third ranked Dynamo (11-8) and fourth ranked Dnipro-DVUFK (11-7) on Sunday night. Dynamo was defeated by Dnipro-DVUFK in a tough game at home 79-88. Dynamo was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 7-point lead after three quarters before a 26-10 charge of Dnipro-DVUFK, which allowed them to win the game. They also forced 22 Dynamo turnovers. International center Taisiia Bovykina (190-89, agency: LBM Management) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds. American guard Kimberly Williams (168-74, college: De Paul, agency: Merit Sports) contributed with 28 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Dnipro-DVUFK players scored in double figures. American swingman Shantel Ragin (178-87, college: Clayton St.) replied with 34 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds and the former international point guard Nataliya Silyanova (172-71) added 21 points and 4 steals (perfect from downtown making all seven shots !!!) in the effort for Dynamo. Defending champion moved-up to third place, which they share with Frankivsk. Dynamo at the other side dropped to the fifth position with eight games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
