It looked good early as CSKA Moscow took an 3-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Khimky had a 23-18 second period charge getting the lead and CSKA Moscow was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 72-77. Khimky made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. They brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of Croatian forward Kresimir Loncar (210-83, agency: Alti Sport) who helped to win the game recording 16 points. International forward Sergey Monya (203-83) contributed with 11 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. International center Andrey Vorontsevich (204-87) answered with 19 points and 7 rebounds and the former international swingman Viktor Khryapa (204-82) added 7 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for CSKA Moscow. CSKA Moscow's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
