Quarter-Finals Day 7: FRANCE - POLAND 47-62

Poland advanced to Semifinals of U20 EuroBasket in Novi Sad. They handed 62-47 loss to France in the QFinals. Also today, Russia was too strong for UK 68-37, so Poland already got their rival in the Semis. On the other side, France will be transferred to Classification Round. They will fight for the fifth place at this event. Magdalena Zietara shined for the winners with 19 points. Their second scorer was Paulina Kuras with 10 pts and Malgorzata Misiuk followed her with 8 points, plus 6 boards. In France, Clementine Samson delivered 16 points. Touty Gandega (7 rebs) and Hhadydia Minte (14 rebs) had 11 and 8 points respectively. Third period was the crucial one in this game as Poland won it 9-19. Quarters: 15-15, 8-12, 9-19, 15-16. Championship continues on Saturday.
