Israel are the U20 European champions. They toppled Spain in the title game in Tel Aviv tonight. Deni Avdija (206-SF-01) recorded 23 points, 7 assists and 5 rebounds for the hosts. Israel and Spain went neck and neck throughout the first half. The teams were tied at 42 after twenty minutes. Israel though unleashed 50 points in the second half and raced to the trophy. Yam Madar (188-G-00, agency: Octagon Europe) accounted for 17 points and 8 assists for the winners. Miguel Gonzalez (201-G/F-99) answered with 14 points for Spain.
3-4 Place
France - Germany 65-73
