Not a big story in a game in Leverkusen where bottom-ranked Bayer Giants (0-2) were rolled over by top-ranked BSV Wulfen (2-0) 87-67 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by BSV Wulfen. Bayer Giants was better in fourth quarter 20-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Bayer Giants 43-28 including 29 on the defensive glass. Bayer Giants were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. BSV Wulfen keeps a position of Group North leader, which they share with Dorsten and Vechta. Loser Bayer Giants still closes the standings with two games lost. BSV Wulfen will face league's second-placed SC Rasta Vechta at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
