Very predictable result when Matinga-Juod. beat on the road Gargzdai-Bremena 77-67 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Matinga-Juod.. Gargzdai-Bremena was better in second period 22-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Matinga-Juod. forced 21 Gargzdai-Bremena turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Matinga-Juod. especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.1 percentage. Guard Zilvinas Kuklierius (180-85) fired 19 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Center Arturas Masiulis (210-80) chipped in 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Center Arturas Gudaitis (208-93) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds and point guard Dominikas Matutis (180-91) added 22 points respectively for lost side. Four Gargzdai-Bremena players scored in double figures. Gargzdai-Bremena's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Matinga-Juod. will face Perlas-MRU in Vilnius in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Gargzdai-Bremena will play on the road against Statyba in Vilnius.
