Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eighteenth ranked Phoenix Hagen and bottom-ranked BBC Bayreuth had identical 0-2 record. But BBC Bayreuth was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Hagen 88-80 on Wednesday night. They still closes the standings with three games lost. Phoenix Hagen will face higher ranked ALBA Berlin (#12) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. BBC Bayreuth will play against s Oliver Baskets (#7) in Wuerzburg and hopes to get finally their first victory.
