Bottom-ranked Falcon is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their fourth consecutive match to fifth ranked Horsens (2-2) 76-64 on Saturday evening. Falcon was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Horsens made 23-of-28 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game. The winners were led by American swingman Brittany Bowen (177-88, college: Butler) who scored that evening 29 points and 9 rebounds and Australian guard Charmaine Furgeson (176-86) supported her with 17 points and 6 rebounds. Four Horsens players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 21 points, 19 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks by American center Trenice Fuller (193-87, college: Hofstra) did not help to save the game for Falcon. Forward Emilie Klint (170-93) added 12 points for lost side. Falcon's coach Steffen Lund rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Horsens moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Vaerlose. Loser Falcon still closes the standings with four games lost. Horsens will meet league's leader SISU in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Falcon will play against the league's second-placed Amager (#2) in Kastrup and hopes to get finally their first victory.
