Ligaen top team - Svendborg (6-0) managed to deliver another win on Wednesday. This time they beat fifth ranked Aabyhoj (3-3) 84-71. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Aabyhoj. The game was mostly controlled by Svendborg. Aabyhoj managed to win third quarter 24-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Svendborg shot 62.7 percent from the field. It was a great shooting night for Svendborg especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. The best player for the winners was American forward Matthew Kingsley (206-86, college: Stephen F. Austin) who scored 25 points and 6 rebounds. Five Svendborg and four Aabyhoj players scored in double figures. Svendborg have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 6-0 record.
