An interesting game was played in Sofia where Dunav 8806 crushed host Levski with 22-point difference 80-58 on Wednesday evening. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The game without a history. Dunav 8806 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 21-of-25 free shots (84.0 percent) during the game, while Levski only scored five points from the stripe. American forward Adrienne Johnson (182-89, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: LBM Management) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds (made all of her eleven free throws !!!) for the winners and the former international guard Zornitsa Kostova (176-82) chipped in 15 points and 4 assists. At the losing side forward Radoslava Bachvarova (183-87, college: VCU, agency: LBM Management) responded with 19 points and 4 assists and the former international forward Agnesa Doychinova (188-73) scored 10 points and 9 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Despite that victory Dunav 8806 went down to first position due to points difference, which they share with Rilski Sportist and Beroe 07. Loser Levski still closes the standings with one game lost. They share the position with Neftochimic and Slavia. Dunav 8806 will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Levski will play against the league's leader Beroe 07 (#1) in Stara Zagora.
