Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eleventh ranked Silute and 10th ranked Gargzdai-Bremena had identical 2-2 record. This time Silute used a home court advantage and won against the opponent from Gargzdai 81-74 on Friday night. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Gargzdai-Bremena won third quarter 26-24. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Silute won last quarter 24-18. Guard Mantas Tamasevicius (196-86) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Forward Egidijus Ramanauskas (202-88) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Five Silute players scored in double figures. Center Arturas Gudaitis (208-93) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks and point guard Dominikas Matutis (180-91) added 11 points and 7 assists in the effort for Gargzdai-Bremena. Silute (3-2) moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Nafta Universitetas and Matinga-Juod. Newly promoted Gargzdai-Bremena dropped to the eighth position with three games lost. Silute will face higher ranked Statyba (#3) in Vilnius in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Gargzdai-Bremena will play at home against the league's second-placed Delikatesas (#2) in Joniskis.
