BBC Bayreuth has registered their first victory this season after four consecutive loses. The win is especially important as they defeated much higher ranked EnBW Ludwigsburg (3-2) 64-58. EnBW Ludwigsburg was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. BBC Bayreuth dominated on the defensive end, holding EnBW Ludwigsburg to just 5 points in fourth quarter. They outrebounded EnBW Ludwigsburg 38-25 including 30 on the defensive glass.
