Very expected game when bottom-ranked Erdemir (0-2) lost to top-ranked Tofas (2-0) in Bursa 70-74. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts were ahead by 8 points but lost the second period ending it with a 1-point deficit before their 23-18 run, which allowed them to win the game. Tofas outrebounded Erdemir 42-24 including 30 on the defensive glass. 25 personal fouls committed by Erdemir helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities.
