Regular Season Round 4: Grosuplje - Jance Prit 73-67

Very predictable result when fourth ranked Grosuplje (3-1) defeated at home 10th ranked Jance Prit (1-3) 73-67 on Saturday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Jance Prit won third quarter 18-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Grosuplje won last quarter 19-15. They made 25-of-28 free shots (89.3 percent) during the game. Jance Prit was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Ales Kunc (208-73, college: Missouri St.) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 8 rebounds and power forward Blaz Lobe (202-84) who added 14 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side guard Dejan Mlakar (192-88) responded with 20 points and guard Matija Klemencic (190-91) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Grosuplje keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 5 other teams. Jance Prit lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the tenth place with three games lost. Grosuplje will face bottom-ranked Litija (#13) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Jance Prit will play against Triglav Strazisce in Kranj.
