Rather predictable result when top-ranked Galatasaray (2-0) won against bottom-ranked Banvit BK (0-2) in Istanbul 84-73. The game was mostly controlled by Galatasaray. Banvit BK was better in third quarter 28-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Galatasaray players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. The best player for the winners was American swingman Joshua Shipp (196-86, college: UCLA) who scored 22 points (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field).
