Undefeated leader Svendborg delivered the seventh consecutive win on Saturday night. This time they beat 8th ranked Vaerlose (2-5) 75-65. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 75-65. Svendborg forced 20 Vaerlose turnovers. The former international guard Chanan Colman (191-84, college: Chipola) fired 23 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. International guard Mikkel Plannthin (195-88) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. American forward Adam Wire (195, college: Cornell) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds and Icelandic forward Axel Karason (193-83) added 10 points and 11 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Svendborg (7-0) have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place with a perfect record of 7 victories in a row. Vaerlose at the other side dropped to the seventh position with five games lost. They share it with SISU and Falcon. Svendborg are looking forward to face Horsholm (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Vaerlose will play against Naestved (#4) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
