An interesting game took place in Nurnberg where higher ranked Science City Jena (3-3) was upset on the court of fourteenth ranked NBC (2-4) 93-86. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Science City Jena. The hosts were already 11 points ahead at halftime and as many as 13 after three quarters before a 28-22 last quarter charge of Science City Jena cut the lead to 93-86 at the end of the game. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. NBC moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Ehingen. Science City Jena at the other side dropped to the eighth position with three games lost. NBC's next round opponent will be higher ranked Saar-Pfalz Braves (#9) in Homburg and it may be quite challenging game.
