The game was mostly controlled by Horsens IC. Aabyhoj managed to win second period 17-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great evening for American forward Will Harris (198-86, college: Albany) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 15 rebounds. His fellow American import power forward Mike St.John (203-84, college: La Salle) helped adding 17 points and 9 rebounds. St.John is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side international guard Darko Jukic (199-90) responded with 18 points and 9 rebounds and American forward D'Mario Curry (201-85, college: Lincoln Memorial) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Horsens IC. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with defeated Aabyhoj. Horsens IC will meet league's second-placed Bakken in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Aabyhoj will play against Aalborg and hope to secure a win.
