Regular Season Round 4: Final Genclik - Tire Gucu 86-70

There was no surprise in Bursa where 12th ranked Tire Gucu (1-3) was defeated by eighth ranked Final Genclik (3-1) 86-70 on Wednesday. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 86-70. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Orcun Okkali (201-87) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Erdem Ilter (-90) who added 25 points and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side power forward Tyrus Boswell (202-78, college: Ky Wesleyan, agency: EM-PA) responded with 22 points and 9 rebounds and guard Cemal Bayraktar (184-82, agency: 1x1 Sports) scored 21 points. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Final Genclik have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with 4 other teams. Tire Gucu at the other side dropped to the fourteenth position with three games lost. Final Genclik will face Istanbulspor (#19) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Tire Gucu will play against Orman Genc (#20) in Ankara.
