Leader Delikatesas delivered the sixth victory. This time they beat 5th ranked Matinga-Juod. (4-3) 80-65 in Joniskis. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Matinga-Juod.. The game was mostly controlled by Delikatesas. Matinga-Juod. was better in third quarter 23-8. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 17-of-22 charity shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Mindaugas Keras (200-85) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds. Guard Vidmantas Uzkuraitis (189-85) contributed with 23 points for the winners. Center Arturas Masiulis (210-80) answered with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and guard Arunas Krivonis (196-82) added 9 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Matinga-Juod.Five Delikatesas and four Matinga-Juod. players scored in double figures. Delikatesas have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 6-1 record. Newly promoted Matinga-Juod. keeps the fifth position with three games lost. They share it with 4 other teams. Delikatesas will play against ABRO-Universitetas (#15) in Siauliai in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Matinga-Juod. will play at home against LKKA-Atletas (#9) in Kaunas and hopes to get back on the winning track.
