Regular Season Round 3: LTHcast Mercator - Elektra 66-72

Telemach League top team - Elektra (3-0) added another victory to their record on Saturday. This time they beat ninth ranked LTHcast Mercator (0-3) in Skofja Loka 72-66. The guests trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 23-13 charge, which allowed them to win the game. It was a quality performance for naturalized Montenegrin center Mensud Julevic (200-85) who led the winners and scored 15 points and 7 rebounds. point guard Ziga Zagorc (188-84) accounted for 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Guard Vladimir Mihailovic (193-82) came up with 21 points and forward Blaz Mahkovic (194-90) added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively for LTHcast Mercator in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Elektra have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 3-0 record. Loser LTHcast Mercator still closes the standings with three games lost. They share the position with Parklji. Elektra will meet at home league's second-placed Helios in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. LTHcast Mercator will play against Polzela (#6) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
