An interesting game for Lukoil Academik (3-0) which played road game in Samokov against second-best Rilski Sportist (1-2). Leader Lukoil Academik managed to get a 11-point victory 82-71. Lukoil Academik players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was a great evening for American guard Brandon Heath (193-84, college: San Diego St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points, 7 assists and 5 steals. Lukoil Academik have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 3-0 record. Rilski Sportist at the other side dropped to the fourth position with two games lost. They share it with 4 other teams. Lukoil Academik will play against league's second-placed Euroins Cherno More in Varna in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Rilski Sportist will play on the road against Balkan in Botevgrad and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
