Very predictable result when third ranked Hannover Tigers (5-1) defeated at home 8th ranked SG Schwelmer Baskets (3-4) 96-89. After very bad start, SG Schwelmer Baskets stormed back in the second period cutting the deficit to 2 points 46-44. Forward Leonhard Oehlmann (204-90) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) for the winners. Four Hannover Tigers players scored in double figures.
