Regular Season Round 6: Musson - Vinnitsky Zubry 77-61

Higher League top team - Musson (5-0) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they beat eighth ranked Vinnitsky Zubry (1-3) in Symferopil 77-61. The game was mostly controlled by Musson. Vinnitsky Zubry managed to win third quarter 14-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Musson dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Vinnitsky Zubry's 36. They outrebounded Vinnitsky Zubry 31-15 including 22 on the defensive glass. Forward Igor Kozhevatov (195-88) scored 13 points and 9 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and forward Denis Baiandin (202-82) chipped in 11 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Musson players scored in double figures. Musson's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was center Gleb Glebov (208-82) with 18 points and guard Oleg Sarapulov (185-93) scored 15 points. Musson have an impressive five-game winning streak. Newly promoted Musson maintains first position with 5-0 record. Vinnitsky Zubry lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with three games lost. Musson will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Vinnitsky Zubry will play at home against BK Kremen (#5) in Kremenchuk and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
