Very expected game when 9th ranked Giessen Pointers (2-5) were crushed at home by third ranked Noerdlingen (6-1) 92-73. The game without a history. Noerdlingen led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Noerdlingen outrebounded Giessen Pointers 37-26 including 26 on the defensive glass. American forward Kedrick Johnson (192-83, college: Lee) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 15 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field). The other American import guard Jason Jamerson (188-86, college: Grand Valley St.) contributed with 24 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Forward Felix Rotaru (200-79) replied with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and American guard Brian Moten (193-86, college: Bowling Green) added 18 points in the effort for Giessen Pointers. Four Giessen Pointers players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Noerdlingen have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of Group South leader, which they share with Leipzig and BSW Sixers. Giessen Pointers lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with five games lost.
