The game in Coimbra was also worth to mention about. Sixth ranked CAB Madeira (2-1) played at the court of bottom-ranked Academica (0-3). CAB Madeira managed to secure a 8-point victory 98-90. Academica was ahead by 3 points at the halftime before a 58-47 second half run of CAB Madeira. They made 19-of-21 charity shots (90.5 percent) during the game.
