There was a small surprise when ninth ranked Vaerlose (3-6) beat at home 7th ranked Horsens IC (3-6) 92-88 on Wednesday. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 92-88. Vaerlose forced 19 Horsens IC turnovers. American forward Adam Wire (195, college: Cornell) nailed a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and forward Mads Rasmussen (191-86) accounted for 23 points and 5 assists.
