The game in Kyiv was also worth to mention about. Fifth ranked Azovmash (6-2) played at the court of 7th ranked BC Kyiv (5-4). Azovmash managed to secure a 6-point victory 90-84. BC Kyiv was ahead by 12 points after three quarters before a 34-16 charge of Azovmash, which allowed them to win the game. The former international center Oleksiy Pecherov (213-85) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds. American point guard Joseph Crispin (185-79, college: Penn St.) contributed with 25 points and 6 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) for the winners. Azovmash's coach Aco Petrovic used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Gary Ervin (186-83, college: Arkansas) replied with 23 points and 5 assists and the former international swingman Artem Shvets (202-85) added 17 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for BC Kyiv. Four BC Kyiv players scored in double figures. Azovmash moved-up to third place, which they share with Ferro-ZNTU. BC Kyiv at the other side keeps the seventh position with four games lost. Azovmash will have a break next round. BC Kyiv will play at home against DniproAzot (#12) in Dniprodzerzhynsk.
