Leader Rudupis blasted bottom-ranked Techasas (0-4) in Prienai 81-56 on Friday evening keeping the perfect record after 5 rounds. Techasas is still unable to win any game. The game without a history. Rudupis led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Rudupis outrebounded Techasas 40-29 including a 33-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Forward Povilas Butkevicius (203-87) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 14 rebounds (on 12-of-14 shooting from the field) for the winners and swingman Gediminas Orelikas (199-90) chipped in 20 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Rudupis will meet Siauliai (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Techasas will play against Juventus (#7) in Utena and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
