Leader Delikatesas delivered the eighth victory on Saturday night. This time they beat 11th ranked Silute (4-6) 86-68 in Joniskis. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Delikatesas looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Guard Vidmantas Uzkuraitis (189-85) scored 25 points and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Vaidotas Jatulevicius (194-88) chipped in 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Delikatesas players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Evaldas Jurkus (190-84) responded with 24 points and guard Vitalis Pancerevas (183-87, college: Weatherford JC) scored 19 points. Delikatesas maintains first position with 8-2 record. Silute lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with six games lost. They share the position with Meresta and S.Marciulionio. Delikatesas will meet Perlas-MRU (#6) in the next round where they are favorite. Silute will play against Triobet (#10) in Jonava and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
