Regular Season Round 7: B.Muenchen - Neckar L'burg 61-55
Date: November 5, 2011
Very predictable result when fourth ranked Bayern Muenchen (5-2) won against at home 9th ranked EnBW Ludwigsburg (3-4) 61-55. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts were already 13 points ahead at halftime and as many as 22 after three quarters before a 20-4 last quarter charge of EnBW Ludwigsburg cut the lead to 61-55 at the end of the game. American forward Chevon Troutman (202-81, college: Pittsburgh, agency: ACMT) fired a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. International forward Jan-Hendrik Jagla (213-81, college: Penn St.) chipped in 9 points and 7 rebounds. American guard Jerry Green (191-80, college: Cal-Irvine) produced 16 points and 7 assists and Antiguan-American power forward Kurt Looby (208-84, college: Iowa) added 7 points, 8 rebounds and 5 blocks respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Bayern Muenchen moved-up to third place, which they share with Ratiopharm and s.Oliver Baskets. EnBW Ludwigsburg lost their third game in a row. They keep the ninth position with four games lost. Bayern Muenchen's next round opponent will be Artland Dragons (#8) in Quakenbrueck which should be theoretically an easy game. EnBW Ludwigsburg will play at home against ratiopharm Ulm.
