There was no surprise when bottom-ranked Mersin (0-3) was defeated at home by leader Samsun (3-0) 72-63 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 22-12 charge, which allowed them to win the game. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was guard Coco Miller (175-78, college: Georgia) who scored 24 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists.
