Regular Season Round 7: Falcon - Lemvig 69-63

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both seventh ranked Falcon and 8th ranked Lemvig had identical 1-5 record. This time Falcon used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Lemvig 69-63 on Saturday night. It was an exceptional evening for American center Trenice Fuller (193-87, college: Hofstra) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds. Forward Emilie Klint (170-93) accounted for 12 points for the winning side. Falcon's coach Steffen Lund used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. American center Rebecca Kielpinski (188-89, college: Alaska-Anch.) came up with 27 points and 6 rebounds and forward Emely Hatch (-89) added 9 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Lemvig in the defeat. Falcon (2-5) moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Aabyhoj. Lemvig lost their fifth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with six games lost. Falcon will meet at home higher ranked Vaerlose (#5) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Lemvig will play against Amager in Kastrup.
