D1 top team - CSM Targoviste (8-0) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they crushed seventh ranked Sp.Studentesc (4-4) 97-31. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Sp.Studentesc. The game without a history. CSM Targoviste led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Sp.Studentesc to just 4 points in first quarter and to 12 points in first half. CSM Targoviste dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Sp.Studentesc's 24. CSM Targoviste forced 31 Sp.Studentesc turnovers and outrebounded them 49-18 including a 24-6 advantage in offensive rebounds.
