Rather predictable result in Varna where fourth ranked Euroins Cherno More (3-2) defeated 6th ranked Balkan (1-4) 73-59. Balkan was ahead by 7 points after three quarters before a 29-8 charge of Euroins Cherno More, which allowed them to win the game. They also forced 20 Balkan turnovers and outrebounded them 37-26 including 22 on the defensive glass. Balkan was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Power forward Aleksandr Yanev (203-90) nailed 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and guard Milcho Borisov (196-90) accounted for 15 points and 8 rebounds.
