There was a surprise result when eleventh ranked Banvit BK (2-3) beat higher ranked Tofas (3-2) in Balikesir 96-85 on Saturday. The game without a history. Banvit BK led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. Tofas was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. American-Azerbaijan forward Charles Davis (202-84, college: Alabama) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Bosnian forward Kenan Bajramovic (206-81) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Five Banvit BK players scored in double figures.
