Bottom-ranked ABRO-Universitetas managed to get a third victory. This time they edged fifth-ranked Perlas-MRU in Siauliai 81-78. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Perlas-MRU. Perlas-MRU was ahead by 6 points after three quarters before a 21-12 charge of ABRO-Universitetas, which allowed them to win the game. They also forced 21 Perlas-MRU turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Rokas Giedraitis (195-92) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and center Julius Jucikas (205-89) who added 20 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward Tadas Padegimas (201-90) with 22 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Paulius Semaska (183-93) scored 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Perlas-MRU players scored in double figures. ABRO-Universitetas (3-9) moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with Gargzdai. Perlas-MRU at the other side dropped to the fourth position with five games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. ABRO-Universitetas will play against higher ranked LKKA-Atletas (#7) in Kaunas in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Perlas-MRU will play against S.Marciulionio and hopes to get back on the winning track.
