Regular Season Round 11: Hannover - Bernau 90-67

ProB top team - Hannover Tigers (7-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed thirteenth ranked SSV Lok Bernau (0-10) 90-67. The game was mostly controlled by Hannover Tigers. SSV Lok Bernau was better in fourth quarter 25-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Hannover Tigers forced 23 SSV Lok Bernau turnovers and outrebounded them 38-27 including 25 on the defensive glass. Canadian forward Jacob Doerksen (200-87, agency: Interperformances) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Swingman Jan-Peter Prasuhn (198-82) contributed with 15 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Hannover Tigers players scored in double figures. Hannover Tigers' coach Michael Mai felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American power forward Martinis Woody (201-82, college: Benedict) answered with 15 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import guard Jermale Jones (186-86, college: Tuskegee) added 17 points and 4 steals in the effort for SSV Lok Bernau. Hannover Tigers have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place in Group North with 7-1 record. SSV Lok Bernau at the other side still closes the standings with ten games lost. Hannover Tigers' next round opponent will be SC Rist Wedel (#9) on the road and are hoping to win another game. SSV Lok Bernau will play against Herzoege Wolfenbuettel (#11) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
