No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Kayseri (3-1) beat 9th ranked Botas (1-3) in Adana 78-69 on Sunday. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Kayseri made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. It was a very good performance for American swingman Bahar Ozturk (183-84, college: Connecticut) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 7 rebounds. American-Montenegrin guard Anna De Forge (178-76, college: Nebraska, agency: Josep and Nicolas) contributed with 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American-Armenian swingman Quianna Chaney (180-86, college: LSU) replied with 22 points and 8 rebounds and American forward Monica Wright (180-88, college: Virginia, agency: LBM Management) added 20 points in the effort for Botas. Kayseri moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Botas dropped to the eighth position with three games lost. Kayseri will face Besiktas (#11) in Istanbul in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Botas will play on the road against Istanbul Universitesi in Istanbul and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
