We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when ninth ranked Beocin (3-5) defeated at home 8th ranked Student Radnicki (3-5) 63-55 on Saturday. Student Radnicki trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 18-15 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 55-63 at the end of the game. Beocin made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Beocin outrebounded Student Radnicki 41-30 including a 32-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Jovana Grahovac (172-86) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 10 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and Maja Golubovic who added 17 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four Beocin players scored in double figures. Marina Vasic (-87) responded with 15 points and forward Ivana Stoiljkovic (180-90) scored 8 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Beocin moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Student Radnicki. Beocin will face Proleter (#7) in Zrenjanin in the next round.
