Very important is a home loss of third ranked Vestel (5-3) against twentiethth ranked Orman Genc (1-7) on Saturday night. Host Vestel was edged by Orman Genc in a tough game in Manisa 68-70. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Strangely Vestel outrebounded Orman Genc 40-27 including 32 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for forward Arif Erhan Kocamis (196-86, agency: 1x1 Sports) who led his team to a victory with 12 points and 5 rebounds. American guard Mikhail Torrance (196-88, college: Alabama) contributed with 13 points for the winners. Orman Genc's coach Serhan Aydanarig allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American forward Justin Carter (193-87, college: Creighton, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and forward Azizcan Ozdemir (201-88, agency: 1x1 Sports) added 14 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Vestel. Orman Genc maintains twentiethth place with 1-7 record. Vestel at the other side dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. Orman Genc's next round opponent will be higher ranked TED Istanbul (#18) at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Vestel will play against the league's leader Genc Telekom (#1) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
