Bottom-ranked Ternopil-TNEU (0-10) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 106-51 loss to fifth ranked BC-93 Pulsar (6-4) in Ternopil. The game without a history. BC-93 Pulsar led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Ternopil-TNEU to just 4 points in first quarter. BC-93 Pulsar made 24-of-26 charity shots (92.3 percent) during the game, while Ternopil-TNEU only scored one point from the stripe. BC-93 Pulsar forced 26 Ternopil-TNEU turnovers and outrebounded them 42-29 including a 30-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Power forward Sergei Miakinin (206-86) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Five BC-93 Pulsar players scored in double figures. Ternopil-TNEU's coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. BC-93 Pulsar have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fifth place with 6-4 record. Ternopil-TNEU at the other side still closes the standings with ten games lost. BC-93 Pulsar will play against Sportlitsey (#8) in Bila Tserkva in the next round. Ternopil-TNEU will play at home against Avantazh-Politekhnik in Kharkov and hopes to get finally their first victory.
