Rather expected game when 11th ranked Usak (4-5) was edged at home by ninth ranked Maliye Milli (6-3) 92-89 on Wednesday. Usak was trailing by 5 points at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 19-12 charge of Maliye Milli, which allowed them to win the game. They made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Strangely Usak outrebounded Maliye Milli 41-29 including 27 on the defensive glass. Guard Caner Erdeniz (188-87) fired 22 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. The former international center Umit Turkoglu (211-81, agency: 1x1 Sports) chipped in 20 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Nikolay Pastal (202-83) produced a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds and American guard Dijuan Harris (175-86, college: Charlotte, agency: ARN Sports and Entertainment) added 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Maliye Milli moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Usak lost fourth consecutive game.
