Everything could happen in Istanbul at the game between two tied teams. Both nineteenth ranked Pertevniyal and 17th ranked Tire Gucu had identical 2-6 record. This time Pertevniyal used a home court advantage and smashed the opponent from 71-50 on Wednesday night. The game without a history. Pertevniyal led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Tire Gucu to just 7 points in fourth quarter. Tire Gucu was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Point guard Soykan Yikilmaz (185-92) fired 21 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners.
